 Requiem of Gabriel Faure

 A German Requiem by Johannes Brahms 

 Each year on the Second Sunday of Lent, (March 4th) the Gospel reading tells of the Transfiguration of Christ. The Transfiguration foreshadows Christ’s, and through Him our own, victory over death. The perfect day to immerse yourself in the soaring melodies and uplifting music of these two renowned settings of the Requiem. This concert is offered free of charge, a free will offering will be collected.
